Hi,

1. Loading of Magazine

a. Take out empty magazine
b. "Empty magazine checked"
c. " Loaded magazine checked"
d. Load magazine a.k.a put the magazine into rifle
e. Put to safe

Do not cock the rifle AT ALL. That would minus marks. Until they say "And Ready" then you would cock the rifle.

2. Unloading of Magazine

a. Take out loaded magazine
b. "Loaded magazine checked"
c. Check clear
d. "Empty magazine checked"
e. Load empty magazine back into rifle.

This should be the correct one so just follow this one if there are any difference with what I said.
And ask the kids to listen out to what the clts say because different courses there are different expectations sometimes, if anything must clarify.

Cock the rifle is DIFFERENT with check clear.
When you cock, it is to load the round into the chamber.
The red parts would be loading of bullets, the others would be checking clear.

Checking clear would be: Cock AT LEAST three times (please don't cock like a hundred times, totally unnecessary), and then LOOK into the chamber to check clear, and echo "CLEAR!" (loudly). Then squeeze trigger. And most probably there would be a need to close dust cover.

3. Assembling of Rifle

I'm just going to tell you the steps okay.

a. Put back bolt
b. Put back bolt cam pin
c. Put back firing pin
d. Put back retaining pin
e. Put back bolt carrier group and charging handle
f. Close rifle (take not if the take down pin is not pulled out enough, or they would never be able to close the rife)
g. Put to semi
h. Do the mechanism checks (ask them to take note of what the clts say also, if need to do mechanism checks)
i. REMEMBER TO SQUEEZE TRIGGER *******
j. Put back magazine
k. Close dust cover

Besides that, can help me tell the kids:

Jiayou for spec course. Be the best that you can be and you wouldn't regret after spec course. Don't compete with the others, compete with yourself. Others are... unimportant. What matters most is that you learn how to be a leader in spec course (which is the main objective of the course) and that you would step out the course with a whole new perspective of NCC. Make as many friends as possible. Don't be afraid to ask questions because the clts wouldn't be eating you up~ Have fun in spec course and don't be scared!!
